Chan Swan

Chan was born January 26, 1967 to Lois and Dave Davis, Chan grew up traveling the world with her two older brothers Jeff and Wade.

Throughout her younger years she loved the time spent with her Grandparents in Idaho and listening to all the things her Grandmothe...r taught her.

The beat of the music always resonated in her head and by the time she reached high school, that is Davis High School, she had to become a member of the now famous D-Ettes! If you would like to be entertained for hours just ask about the many adventures that took place with this group of girls! Claim to fame was winning a World Wide Championship in Japan and of course all the 80's photos that went along with it!

Chan has 5 very incredible kids, Bella, Daulton, Sophia, Grace and Olivia that are truly the light of her life. After these 5 kids her love of children continues on with all the kids at Flip's.

Chan Started Flip's 15 years ago and has touched the lives of 100's of kids, coaches and parents. She is truly a "Rock Star" for the 12 and under group!

Ryun

Ryun has been with Flip’s for a little over 8 years, can you believe that? Ryun was born a teacher, he loves the kids and loves helping them learn. Ryun is a “do it all” kind of guy, he teaches anywhere from the toddler class up to the team boys but most the time you will find him doing privates. Ryun can bring a smile to anyone’s face; he is so creative when teaching the little ones. Ryun is also very involved in cheerleading and loves to tumble. Thanks for all your hard work Ryun!

Teacher Allie

We want you to get to know Flip's staff a little better, each week we will spot light a coach! This week is Allie, she has been with Flip's for a little over 2 years, and you will most likely find her in the big gym teaching level 5 girls or cheerleading. Allie is all GIRL she loves the color pink, cheerleading, shopping, chick flicks and spending time with her friends. Allie is so much fun; we LOVE the excitement she brings to the gym! Thanks for all your hard work Allie!

Back Handspring Clinic

Please sign up in the office for the Back Handspring Clinic, this is a great opportunity for your child to get extra practice! It will be held Saturday, January 22nd from 9:00-10:00am. During the clinic, the students will work on conditioning necessary to do a back handspring, drills to improve the techniques of their back handsprings, and the “big trick” itself. The cost of the clinic is only $8.00 per person.

Can you believe Flip’s has been open for 15 years? 15 years ago Chan Swan had a vision of helping children develop socially, mentally and physically by teaching them gymnastics. She developed the awesome gymnastics program we all love today…FLIPS GYMNASTICS!

We are so grateful for the dedication of Chan, and the other employees at Flip’s, to change children’s lives by building their self-esteem, self-confidence and most of all by having fun.

We want to thank you for being part of our Flip’s family! Come party with us this SATURDAY, JANUARY 8th from 4:00-6:00pm!!! There will be games, fun and free time to practice your gymnastics tricks! The best part is everything is FREE!
